In addition to the numerous websites that offer coupons and related advice, a new activity is sweeping the country – Coupon Parties.
Two Kansas City moms became so good at the art of saving money through coupons, that they began to pass along their tips to friends and family members. That evolved into parties in homes, where they shared their expertise for a $25 attendance fee. From there, came their website BeCentsAble, which includes weekly coupons, links, resources and opportunities for contributors to share their discoveries. Additionally, the ladies have now trained “Educators” in 42 states and their team hosts workshops and parties from coast-to-coast.
